WHAT IS STREAM IT UP?

STREAM It Up project, prepared under the leadership of Manisa Celal Bayar University and STEM Educators Association, with Manisa and Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorates of National Education as stakeholders, is a comprehensive project that all high school students from 81 provinces who are interested in STEAM and confident in English language skills can apply.

The project, which was led by Assist. Prof. Mehmet Nuri Öğüt from Manisa Celal Bayar University Project Coordination Application and Research Center, was conducted by Assist. Prof. Dr. Emre Uygur and Assist. Prof. Dilek Karaca from the headquarters, Assist. Prof. Orkun Teke from Manisa Celal Bayar University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Şeyda Nur Halitoğlu, an English Teacher and US Scholar from Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education, and Ayşe Zambak, an English Teacher and US Scholar from Adana Sarıçam District Directorate of National Education, as expert staff. Nineteen educators, each expert in their field, will take part in our project.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

To develop STEAM and Artificial Intelligence skills of young people in an integrated manner with English, the language of science of the era, and to enable them to effectively combine different disciplines and produce solutions. At the same time; to help them become proficient in 21st century skills such as leadership, representation and teamwork.

HOW WILL THE PROJECT PROCESS?

Firstly, 81 science ambassador students will be selected from 81 provinces, and we will take our students from your cities by plane   to be our guests at Manisa Celal Bayar University campus for an education process which STEAM, Artificial Intelligence and English are interbedded

Here, we will spend a week full of education and activities with our students.

During the process, interviews and events will be organized with scientists from Turkey and abroad who are experts in different fields. At the end of the process, a science festival will be organized where our students will exhibit the projects they prepared.

At the end of the project, our students will be sent back home by plane with a certificate that will contribute to the education and business.
