The Inauguration of the Face-to-Face Education Stage of the “STREAM It Up!” Project, which was prepared under the leadership of Manisa Celal Bayar University and the STEM Educators Association, with Manisa Provincial Directorate of National Education and Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education as stakeholders, supported by the United States Embassy, was organized with a ceremony performed at MCBU Prof. Dr. Ümit Doğay Arınç Cultural Center.
Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector Ahmet Ataç, Secretary General V. Assoc. Prof. Bora Canbula, Deans, instructors, project instructors and students from 81 provinces attended the ceremony.
At the opening of the project, which aims to develop the STEAM and Artificial Intelligence skills of students in an integrated manner with English, the language of science of the age, and to help them effectively combine different disciplines and produce solutions, as well as to help them become proficient in 21st century skills such as leadership, representation and teamwork, Assist. Prof. Mehmet Nuri Öğüt, the project coordinator, Merve Begüm Altıntaş, Izmir Science Ambassador, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ataç, Rector of Manisa Celal Bayar University, made speeches on behalf of all science ambassadors from 81 provinces.
Starting his speech by welcoming students from 81 different provinces, Rector Ataç said: “We are very happy to welcome you, our students. I hope that the outputs of the education you will receive will be beneficial.”
The ceremony ended with a group photo session.
