Visit to Governor Karadeniz from Manisa CBU Project Coordination Unit

Manisa Celal Bayar University Project Coordination Unit Lecturers Mehmet Nuri Öğüt, Dilek Karaca, and Emre Uygur visited Governor Yaşar Karadeniz in his office.

During the visit, the delegation consisting of lecturers from Manisa Celal Bayar University informed Governor Yaşar Karadeniz about the current status of TUBİTAK 4000 coded (TUBITAK 4004-4005-4007) projects within the scope of the ‘Cooperation Protocol in Education’ made with the cooperation of Manisa Celal Bayar University and Provincial Directorate of National Education and the support of Manisa Governorship. 

The delegation also informed Governor Karadeniz about the “STREAM It Up!” project, which was prepared under the leadership of Manisa Celal Bayar University and in which the STEM Educators Association, Manisa Provincial Directorate of National Education and Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education are stakeholders. 

“STREAM It Up!”project has been awarded grant support by the US Embassy, and the STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) and Artificial Intelligence themed project, which will start to be implemented in November 2021; STREAM Themed Foreign Language Training, Theoretical STREAM and Artificial Intelligence Trainings, Conversation with Scientists, Applied STREAM and artificial Intelligence Trainings, Project, Science and Technology Festival, STREAM and Artificial Intelligence Congress, the delegation also informed that it is planned to include activities for the language development of young people in all stages of the project, which can be attended by young people from 81 provinces.  

Governor Yaşar Karadeniz stated that the projects prepared in cooperation with Manisa Celal Bayar University and Provincial Directorate of National Education will contribute to the language development of young people as well as science and technology, and thanked those who contributed to the projects, especially Manisa Celal Bayar University Project Unit, and wished them success in their work.
