ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our “STREAM It Up!” project, prepared under the leadership of Manisa Celal Bayar University and STEM Educators Association, with Manisa Provincial Directorate of National Education and Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education as stakeholders, was entitled to be supported by the US Embassy.

1. STREAM Themed Foreign Language Education

Stage 1

Get ready to experience a multidisciplinary language education with activities for participants to meet each other and STREAM-based activities to develop foreign language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing)!


2. Theoretical STREAM and Artificial Intelligence Trainings

Stage 2

A full program is waiting for you in the stage 2, which will provide basic information about STREAM and crown it with Artificial Intelligence trainings.

3. Interviews with Scientists

Stage 3
At this stage, where participants will come together online with local and foreign scientists who have national and international studies in the fields of STREAM, Artificial Intelligence, etc., information will be given about the studies carried out in Turkey and the world on this subject and virtual tours will be organized to science centers. In this way, the participants will have the opportunity to both listen to the experiences of scientists and see the activities carried out in different science centers in our country and in the world by crossing the borders with virtual tours.

4. Practical STREAM and Artificial Intelligence Trainings  

Stage 4

The theoretical trainings provided online in the previous stages will be switched to the practical stage. In this stage, it will be face-to-face and the practical STREAM and Artificial Intelligence activities during the day will be supported by the relevant foreign language activities at the end of the day.

5. Project, Science and Technology Festival

Stage 5

In this stage, science ambassadors from 81 provinces will prepare projects in accordance with the philosophy of the "STREAM It Up!" project with a multidisciplinary approach within the framework of the trainings they receive with the hybrid model. After all these projects are prepared, an activity will take place that will be exhibited publicly. Students from Manisa and neighboring provinces will be invited to the exhibition to see the projects.

6. STREAM and Artificial Intelligence Congress

Stage 6

After the trainings and festival, Online International STREAM and Artificial Intelligence Congress will be organized. Within the context of the congress, project participants are expected to present verbal presentations and local and foreign experts are expected to present academic papers. There will also be panels, interviews, experience sharing, keynotes and workshops within the context of the congress.
